Man robs Macon Cook Out

A man walked in and asked for the cheapest item on the menu. Then, he asked for cash

MACON, Ga. — The Bibb County Sheriff's Office is investigating after a robbery at a Macon Cook Out fast food restaurant.

According to a news release, it happened around 12:45 a.m. Saturday at the location on Brookhaven Road.

Deputies say a man entered the restaurant and asked a cashier for the cheapest thing on the menu. When the cashier looked up the item, the robber demanded money from the register.

After receiving an undisclosed amount of money, the suspect ran away towards Eisenhower Parkway. No one was injured in the robbery.

The suspect was wearing blue basketball shorts under blue jeans, and a gray hoodie with black specks on it.
