30-year-old Marquis Antonio Simmons allegedly stole a company gas card from the Five Star Automotive Group in Macon and made a Facebook post offering to use the card to pay for his friends' gas if they paid him half the cost.

A man was arrested Thursday after allegedly committing $15,000 worth of credit card fraud.

That's according to a news release from the Bibb County Sheriff's Office. The release says 30-year-old Marquis Antonio Simmons allegedly stole a company gas card from the Five Star Automotive Group in Macon and made a Facebook post offering to use the card to pay for his friends' gas if they paid him half the cost.

For example, if it took $10 to fill the tank, the friend would pay Simmons $5 and he would pay for the gas with the stolen card.
