CENTERVILLE, Ga. — For the second time this year, a former Centerville pastor faces charges of molesting girls at his church.
Wiley Leverett was arrested Wednesday, Dec. 19, on a child-molestation charge and released from the Houston County jail the same day, according to jail records online.
In October, a Houston County jury indicted Leverett on three counts of molestation.
According to the indictment, he allegedly touched the genitals of a little girl under the age 16 in the sanctuary and bathroom of Solid Rock Community Church between Sept. 2011 and 2012.
Back in March, a Houston County jury convicted Leverett of sexual battery on a child.
He received a one-year sentence with 35 days in jail and the rest on probation.
13WMAZ could not reach Solid Rock Church to find out if Leverett is still connected with them.
