On top of his burglary charges, the man is also facing a laundry list of other charges — including child endangerment — after leading deputies on a high-speed chase.

MACON, Ga. — It was a game of hide and seek with a lot more at stake.

When the Bibb County Sheriff's Office came knocking at a Macon man's door Monday evening, he was found hiding in his home's dryer as deputies came to arrest him on burglary charges.

According to a post on the Bibb County Sheriff's Office Facebook page, the man also led the Bibb County Sheriff's Office K-9 Interdiction Unit in a high-speed chase on April 26.

At one point, he jumped out of his vehicle which then rolled into a fence. When deputies got to the vehicle, they found a 1-year-old child in the backseat of the car without a seatbelt on.

On top of his burglary charge, the man is facing a laundry list of other charges from the chase with deputies.

He is facing charges for Knowingly Driving a Motor Vehicle with Suspended Registration, Fleeing Attempting to Elude, Possession of a Firearm by a Convicted Felon, Possession of a Firearm During the Commission of a Crime, Cruelty to Children in the 3rd degree and Criminal Trespass.
