JONES COUNTY, Ga. — The Jones County Sheriff’s Office arrested a man on Tuesday on drug charges after a 4-month long investigation.

According to a Facebook post from the agency, an investigation into the illegal distribution of prescription drugs led deputies to 33-year-old Brian Jones.

The post said the investigation began with information gathered from Deputy Travis Walker.

Deputies found hundreds of doses of prescription medication and THC oil during the investigation, according to the post.

An investigator from the sheriff's office told WMAZ that Jones is an employee at Coliseum Park Pharmacy and had $5,000 when he was arrested in Jones County. Coliseum Park is not affiliated with the hospital.

The post said the Department of Community Supervision and Southeastern Regional Fugitive Task Force helped the sheriff’s office throughout the investigation.
