5 charged after drug bust at Macon hotel

Deputies found meth and marijuana inside the hotel room

MACON, Ga. — Five people were arrested after a drug bust at a Macon hotel earlier this week.

According to a news release, Bibb Special Investigation deputies executed a search warrant at the Days Inn on Harrison Road around 7:30 p.m. Monday.

Deputies spoke to the five people in the room and found a pistol, meth and marijuana.

All five people were arrested on various charges.

  • Keith Bostick, 47, is charged with giving false information to a peace officer and a probation violation warrant from an unrelated case. He is being held on a $650 bond.
  • Samantha Ragan, 45, is charged with possession of meth with intent to distribute and giving false information to a peace officer. She’s being held without bond.
  • Clarissa Barnett, 42, is charged with possession of meth with intent to distribute. She’s being held without bond.
  • Kelvin Whitehead, 40, is charged with possession of meth with intent to distribute. He’s being held without bond.
  • Tamara Hooker, 38, is charged with possession of meth with intent to distribute and giving false information to a peace officer. She’s being held without bond.
