Two men are now charged with robbing a Macon post office at gunpoint in November.
According to a news release from the Bibb County Sheriff's Office, 19-year- old Roy Ford Jr. and 36-year-old Alvin Dunn, of Macon were arrested by U.S Marshal’s just before noon on Wednesday.
Ford and Dunn are accused of robbing the post office at 1040 Pio Nono Avenue on Friday, November 29th.
Ford, was charged with armed robbery, possession of a firearm during the commission of a felony and a previous charge of theft by taking.
Dunn, was charged with armed robbery, possession of a firearm during the commission of a felony and possession of a firearm by a convicted felon.
Both men are being held in the Bibb County jail without bond at this time.
The Bibb County Sheriff's Office says Warner Robins, Twiggs County, U.S. Marshal's Southeast Regional Fugitive Task Force and the U.S. Postal Inspectors all helped with the arrests.
