WARNER ROBINS, Ga. — A new cookie bar is now open in Warner Robins.
Tasty Prayer...the Cookie Bar officially opened on Russell Parkway in Warner Robins on Tuesday.
Owner Lisa Tutherow says she offers five signature flavors including chocolate chip chunk, java chocolate chip, oatmeal creme pie, sunshine lemon and vanilla buttermilk.
"That's what I'm known for," Tutherow said. "I started at the Farmers Market and...these are the five that stuck pretty well."
She added that The Cookie Bar will continue to add to its featured items. Some of the goodies to come include cinnamon rolls, brownies and banana bread with a kick.
As for beverages, the Cookie Bar offers a free bottled water with each purchase and hot cups of coffee for $1.50. Soon, milk and chocolate milk will be added to those offerings.
"We also have a great cart that we invested in, and we do [in the summertime] festivals, we do farmers markets and we offer ice cream cookie sandwiches," she said.
The ice cream sandwiches have in-house cookies with organic ice cream in between.
The bar also has a farmhouse table which has a prayer request book that the community can write their prayer requests on. "We do actually pray for you," she said.
For now, the Cookie Bar is open Tuesday through Friday 10 a.m. to 7 p.m. and Saturdays from 8 a.m. to 1 p.m.
