ROSWELL, Ga. — You've probably heard of Barbie Dreamhouse but have you heard of Barbie Scream House?
One Georgia woman has decked out her front yard into a Barbie-themed Halloween oasis that is both hauntingly beautiful and pink, of course.
Denise Ruiz lives in Roswell, Georgia, off Spindletree Trace in the Woodfield Subdivision. Ruiz said her Halloween decorations have been attracting some attention.
"The neighborhood and community have been so awesome and receptive. There are kids and families stopping by to take pictures all the time," she said.
After dressing up as Gen X Barbie for Dragoncon, Ruiz decided to take her love for Barbie to the next level. So, she came up with the Barbie Scream House and Ken's Haunted Mojo Dojo Casa House in her front yard.
"They were my own creations," she said. "The costumes were a mashup of things I had around the house and then I ordered a few items from Amazon."
In Ruiz's front yard, you can see skeleton Barbie and Ken in their neon rollerblade attire. At night, Barbie is illuminated in her Barbie doll box and Ken is in front of his Mojo Dojo Casa House. You can also see Ken holding a "Hi, Barbie" Scream flag.

In the back of the yard, another skeleton Ken is waving in his colorful stripe shirt by the Barbie Scream House.
Ruiz said her favorite to make was skeleton weird Barbie. She was created from plumbing supplies and her makeup was made from colored duct tape. Weird Barbie is surrounded by several black cats. Like in the movie, weird Barbie appears to have been played with a little too much.
"Lots of little details and Gen X love went into this," she added.
