Something miraculous happened at the Miracle League of Arizona and the Savannah Bananas were part of it

Zach Wagner went viral once for calling his shot at the Miracle League. When he stepped up to the plate to face a Party Animals pitcher, something amazing happened.

PHOENIX — Call it a miracle moment with the Savannah Bananas. Call it one of the coolest things ever seen on a baseball field.

Last week, the world-famous Bananas and their rivals the Party Animals were in town on their world tour. Saturday morning, they were invited to stop by the Miracle League of Arizona, a baseball league for differently abled athletes.

The Bananas agreed to come out but they had one condition. They wanted to meet miracle leaguer Zach Wagner.

Wagner went viral last year for his signature pose at the plate, then for hitting a home run after calling his shot.

Wagner was only supposed to catch the ceremonial first pitch from Party Animals pitcher ⁦Garrett Declue. Instead, after doing his famous pose, he took a swing and knocked it out of the ballpark for a home run!

Wagner was mobbed as he rounded the bases by everyone in the ballpark. It was truly a miracle moment with the Savannah Bananas and one that could only have happened at the Miracle League of Arizona.
