When you think of New Year's Eve, you may think of a ball drop or celebrating with some champagne.
If you do choose to buy and drink alcohol Monday night, Bibb County Chief Coroner Leon Jones wants to help you stay safe.
For the past six years, Jones has been giving free rides for New Year's Eve.
Jones says his rides are only for the people living in Bibb County. He'll take you anywhere you need to be on New Year's Eve, whether that be a party or a church.
Jones says there's no need to drink and drive when you can hop in one of their three vans or mini bus free of charge.
He says helping thousands of people get around safely through the years has left him with some interesting memories.
"A guy was so drunk, he told me if I ran for mayor, him and his family would finance my entire campaign... he was real drunk," Jones said.
Jones says he wants to do what he can to keep the community safe.
He won't stop the rides until everyone is home safe.
If you'd like to make a reservation for a ride, you can call Jones at 478-256-6716.
