FORSYTH, Ga. — In Forsyth, folks will say goodbye to the Old Mill Market Company at the end of the year.
Eddie and Kathy Rowland bought and transformed the warehouse space and opened up a shop and commercial kitchen in 2021.
The couple says they began with four walls and a dream.
The space is on the market for $875,000. The Rowlands also own warehouse space behind the old market, which is equal to a city block.
They're asking $1.3 million for all of the land and buildings.
Eddie who is also a county commissioner says he hopes Old Market is larger than the Rowlands and the right buyer will come along.
“Nothing lasts forever and our thoughts were we would run it a few years and if our kids wanted to continue that would be great but if they didn't we would sell it and that would be fine,” he said.
Eddie says he is up for re-election next year and he plans to have his name on the ballot
