A Washington man can’t get enough Chiptole.
Devin Cunningham loves Chipotle so much he’s eaten there every day for the past 315 days. And, he plans to continue until he hits 366 days.
Why?
“I want to show people that they can be fit while still enjoying the food they love,” he says on Facebook. “When you enjoy what you eat on your 'diet,' and you do it in moderation, it is that much easier to achieve your fitness goals.”
The Chiptole diet doesn’t look like a bad idea. Just take a look at an Instagram Cunningham posted on day 294.
Who knew burritos produced ripped bodies?
Well, to be fair, sometimes he goes for a chicken bowl. In fact, Cunningham says he switches up his order often, so he doesn’t get sick of the same food. It's a burrito balance.
“This depends on what I am trying to do," he said. "Bulk up? Anything and everything. Double meat, guac (yes I know it is extra), rice, beans, all the salsas. All of the calories I can fit into my stomach, I need. Cutting down? I’ll stick to a chicken or steak bowl, 4oz white rice or 4oz of black beans, fajita vegetables, pico, corn, and lettuce and sometimes cheese.”
So what did he do during the E. coli scare? When Chipotle closed restaurants nearby, he drove to Canada for burritos, Q13 Fox reported.
On his first trip, he got seven burritos and froze them to last the week. When he ran out (and Washington and Oregon Chipotle restaurants were still closed), he made another trip.
"On the drive back, my window broke at the border and it was pouring down rain, so I drove from the border to Bellevue with my window down," he told Q13 Fox.
That's dedication.
