Macon Little Theater's Halloween special aimed at exposing young people to the arts

The event will include live family-friendly acts and a haunted trail.

During Halloween weekend, you can find some spooky entertainment in downtown Macon.

The Macon Little Theater along with the Museum of Arts and Sciences will host their third annual Halloween night.

The event starts with a live performance called "Frank N. Stein for Class President," a live play for children and parents.

Then, the night gets a little scary with a haunted trail tour, just across from the theater.

JP Haynie, director of the theater, says he hope the event will inspire children to build interest in the arts.

"This is not only a fun event for the kids," Haynie says, "This may also spark something in them that helps them want to become and artist or actor."

The event is set to happen Sunday, October 30, at 5:30 p.m. with live acts and then continue with the haunted trail tour.
