Happily ever after is possible, even if you've sinned. Just ask Jason Aldean.
The country star wed former American Idol contestant Brittany Kerr Saturday evening in Mexico, more than two years after they were snapped smooching in a Los Angeles bar.
At the time, Aldean was married.
"I'm no angel," Aldean said then. He posted a message on his Facebook page later, apologizing to fans.
But now that's behind them. A representative for the singer confirmed that the pair tied the knot, six months after they announced their engagement in September, according to the Associated Press.
Aldean is one of the top-selling acts in country music, where it's OK to sing about cheating on your wife but actually doing it is frowned upon.
But his fans, at least, forgave him, judging from congratulatory tweets.
He filed for divorce from his wife, Jessica Ussery, in 2013. They have two daughters, Keeley, 12, and Kendyl, 7.
Us Weekly first reported the marriage, quoting a statement from Aldean:
"This is the best day ever — I've got my girl here, my friends, my family — it's the best day ever!" he said.
Kerr, 27, added: "Today has been the best day of my life. I feel like the luckiest woman to have been able to marry my best friend."On Twitter, Aldean retweeted the US Weekly alert:
