MACON, Ga. — Comedian Katt Williams is coming to Macon.
His recently announced tour, the "Heaven on Earth Tour," said that it would be coming to the Macon Coliseum on Feb. 7, 2025, according to a press release.
The tour comes off the heels of his recent Netflix comedy special, "Woke Foke," which received a 30% approval rating on Rotten Tomatoes. The release said the tour will have new material than his special had.
Ticket prices range from $60 to $255 and will be on sale starting Monday, July 1 at 10 a.m. on Ticketmaster.com. This will be a presale, with a general sale starting on Tuesday, July 2 at the same time.
Williams last visited Macon in 2015 for his "Conspiracy Theory" tour. He joked about evolution and creationism, America’s space program, differences between Jared Fogle and Bill Cosby and more.
While it’s been some time since that tour and since those topics were fully relevant, Williams will likely bring similar energy on this tour.
His first stand-up performance was when he was a teenager and he’s continued his career ever since. While he began as a door-to-door salesman after moving to Florida, his career eventually took off.
Williams’ first comedy special was in 2006 and he's appeared in specials, movies, TV shows and video games ever sense
He’s appeared in several movies, including "Friday After Next," "First Sunday" and "Norbit." He’s also played roles in shows like "My Wife and Kids" and "The Boondocks" and provided his voice for the video game "Grand Theft Auto IV."
This special and tour comes on the heels of his appearance on former NFL tight end Shannon Sharpe’s podcast "Club Shay Shay." Williams made several comments on the entertainment industry and other comedians including Cedric the Entertainer, Steve Harvey and Rickey Smiley gained traction on social media.
It’s unclear if his tour will reference any of this.
Williams’ tour will include shows North Carolina. There are no plans for shows in Atlanta.
