PERRY, Ga. — Central Georgia is full of talented people. But one Byron family is bursting with star quality as two Byron brothers are both acting at Central Georgia theaters this month.
Noah Grant was recently in a production of the Rocky Horror Picture Show at Theatre Macon. His brother, Simon, is currently acting in the Addams Family Musical at the Perry Players Community Theatre.
The pair have been acting for over 10 years.
"Me and Noah are really a tag team. Usually we do shows together, like we did 1776 here in the summer," Simon said.
But this time around, they decided to each do something a little different and be in separate show. However, they continue to support each other just like they would if they were sharing a stage.
"Nothing makes me more proud than seeing him do what he does best on stage. Simon has always belonged on stage so, seeing him blossom while doing what he loves is such a magical experience," Noah said.
Simon says he is always so proud to see his brother act.
"It was weird not being on stage with him but I mean you could tell he was having as much fun as it would be for any other show, and I know he feels the same way for me. It was such a blessing really because he's such a talented guy," he said,
Noah says being in different shows worked out perfectly. He doesn't often have a chance to see his brother perform when they are in the same show.
"So this is a special time to see how he has changed as a performer from the audience and so far it is very special what he is doing," he said.
The pair have had family members come to see them perform in multiple showings this month. Their mom, Maria Grant, loves how happy her boys are in theater.
"You know when I was a little girl, all I wanted was kids and all you want them to do is live their best life and in theater I feel like the boys are living their best life together and apart," she said.
Rocky Horror Picture show has already closed but you can still see Simon, and Noah cheering him on, in the Addams Family Musical at the Perry Players Community Theatre through Nov. 6.
You can get tickets to the show on their website.
