'7th Heaven' actress Sarah Goldberg dies

Her character was the daughter of a rabbi (Richard Lewis) who falls in love and eventually marries Matt Camden (Barry Watson), the son of Rev. Eric Camden (Stephen Collins). Their inter-religious relationship was a popular story line for fans.

"She went to sleep and didn't wake up," her mother told the Sun-Times.

Goldberg played Sarah Glass Camden on 7th Heaven. Her character was the daughter of a rabbi (Richard Lewis) who falls in love and eventually marries Matt Camden (Barry Watson), the son of Rev. Eric Camden (Stephen Collins). Their inter-religious relationship was a popular story line for fans.

Collins made headlines on Tuesday when it was revealed that he is under investigation by police in New York over allegations that he molested a 14-year-old girl in 1972. TMZ also revealed on Tuesday that it had obtained a tape recording that features Collins, 67, discussing three instances of child molestation.
