MACON, Ga. — Jasamine Lee joined the 13WMAZ team in June 2024 as a Multi-Skilled Journalist.
Jasamine calls Arizona home where she began college at the University of Arizona but moved to Tallahassee specifically for FAMU’s broadcast program and loved being a Rattler. She chose journalism because she wants the stories she tells to bring about positive change. She’s looking forward to sharing the stories of people in the community through WMAZ.
Jasamine graduated from Florida A&M University with a degree in Broadcast Journalism. While attending FAMU, Jasamine anchored and reported for FAMU TV20 and held an internship with WCTV in Tallahassee.
During her free time, Jasamine loves trying new activities and being adventurous. She also loves trying new foods, hiking, and dancing.
Her first beat assignment is Monroe County, and she is excited to share stories with the Central Georgia community.
