MACON, Ga. — Justin Baxley is the Digital Content Manager at 13WMAZ.
He first joined the station in June 2022. Before joining the team, he was a reporter at “The Telegraph” in Macon from 2018-2022.
As a reporter at “The Telegraph," he covered the 2019 Masters, Super Bowl Media Day and served as the primary COVID-19 reporter. During his time there, Justin interviewed top stars like Tiger Woods, Todd Gurley and Tim Tebow.
Justin graduated from Mercer University with degrees in Journalism and Criminal Justice. During his time at Mercer, he was a John M. Couric Fellow through the Mercer Center for Collaborative Journalism. He served as the sports editor for The Cluster from 2015-2017. He began his journalism career in 2014, writing Mercer football stories for The Cluster.
Justin was born and raised in Macon. He graduated from Rutland High School in 2013.
His hobbies include watching sports, hanging out with friends, trying local restaurants, and listening to Taylor Swift.
