The Georgia softball team is heading to the Women's College World Series after they took down Tennessee 2-1 in extra innings in the NCAA Super Regionals Saturday afternoon.
Stratford's Mary Wilson Avant dominated in the circle and recorded the win as she gave up just one run in the victory as the Dawgs swept the Vols. This is the fourth time in program history UGA has made it to the WCWS. The series begins in Oklahoma City on May 31st.
