After losing their first game of the tournament to Samford 10-3, the Bears responded in an elimination contest against WCU to make it back to the championship game.
Mercer took down the Catamounts 10-2 and will have a rematch against the Bulldogs in the Southern Conference Tournament title game. The Bears will need to beat Samford twice in order to claim the title and earn a spot in the NCAA tournament.
Game one begins at noon. The last time, the Bears played Samford in the title game, Mercer won the championship in 2015.
