New downtown Macon nightclub to open in former Club Envy location

The new club will be named Late Nite Macon.

A new nightclub will soon take the place of what used to be Club Envy in downtown Macon.

However, the concept will be much different.

The club, named Late Nite Macon, will cater to "well-dressed downtown visitors and residents who don't necessarily want to end their night after a meal," according to a Macon-Bibb Planning and Zoning report.

It also states that the club will create a clean night club environment and appeal to a dinner crowd of people ages 21 and up.

The DJs will play "the latest in pop culture and old school hits that fit the crowd."

The owner of the nightclub is Wesley Nobles, who was born and raised in the Macon area.

According to Nobles, the community can expect Late Nite Macon to open some time this fall.

Initially, the club will be open from 9 p.m. to 2 a.m., three nights a week.

The club will be located at 420 Martin Luther King Jr. Blvd.
