MACON, Ga. — The Bibb County Sheriff's Office is investigating after a man hit a tree in a car accident on Napier Avenue in Macon on Saturday.
They say that it happened around 2:47 p.m., in the 4300 block of the avenue.
It was reported that a driver of a red Acura Integra lost control of his vehicle, left the roadway, and then hit a tree.
The driver, 37-year-old Antonio Eugene Dumas was pronounced dead at the scene.
The accident is still under investigation.
