A Japanese restaurant will open in the former Ryan’s location in Warner Robins.
After several years of vacancy, the building is currently undergoing renovations.
Erin Lin, who works at the Austell location, says they are aiming to open the new location by January 1.
MeAkan Japanese Steakhouse will offer hibachi, a sushi bar as well as a normal dine-in option.
The restaurant locations in Austell and McDonough are currently named Miyako Hibachi Sushi & Steakhouse, but the chain is rebranding to the MeAkan name.
The restaurant will be located at 1992 Watson Boulevard near Corder Road.
