Still pretty in pink, Blossom waits for her time to bloom again at Macon's 2019 Cherry Blossom Festival.
However, this year, the original pink poodle will have a new partner in crime.
Just last week, Paul and Alice Williams picked up the newest addition to the family: Cherry!
Cherry is contributing to a decades-long tradition for the Williams.
"We are poodle fanatics. The first dog we ever bought 49 years ago was a toy poodle," Williams said.
Cherry is now working to be the cherry on top when it's time for the Pinkest Party in spring, learning all her basic commands.
"Her training is going well. She already will do a sit, she will do a down," Williams said.
For those of you wondering if she will be polished in pink just like Blossom for the festival, the answer: "She will be pink for the Cherry Blossom Festival 2019," Williams said.
The 2019 Cherry Blossom Festival will be March 22 through March 31.

There's a new poodle on the block.
The Cherry Blossom Festival has added new poodle puppy to the family, Cherry.
Blossom, last year's pink poodle, is Cherry's great aunt.
While Blossom is still alive, one of the pink poodles, Lacie, passed away in 2016 at the age of 14.
Lacie made appearances at the Cherry Blossom Festival for 12 years, until she passed the torch to Blossom in 2014.
