Macon man accused of gas station killing turns himself in to deputies

39-year-old Lamegia Amez Willis turned himself over to deputies just before 6 p.m. Wednesday.

The man accused of shooting and killing a Macon man at a gas station Monday night has turned himself in.

According to a news release from the Bibb County Sheriff's Office, 39-year-old Lamegia Amez Willis turned himself over to deputies just before 6 p.m. Wednesday. 

Willis is accused of killing 21-year-old Clintavious Mister. Deputies say Mister got into an argument with Willis at the Marathon Gas station on Irwinton Road and during the fight, Willis went to his car, pulled out a gun, and shot Mister in the head.

Willis is being held at the Bibb County jail without bond.
